Public Record Terms

Version 2026-10-06. These terms apply only when a desk adds DRM3's public record beside its own data. A desk built on its own data alone never touches the record.

DRM3 keeps a public record of facts drawn from the world's news and open data, with the source behind each one. A desk may read that record beside the data its operator delivers. Read more at truthfoundry.ai.

1. What the record is

A fact in the record has an identity and a version chain, and names the source it was taken from. A fact is never edited and never deleted. When the world moves, the fact is superseded on the record, and both the old and the new stay.

2. What corroboration means, and does not

Facts are counted by how many separate publishers carried them. The record says "N publishers," never a stronger word than the count earns. A count is not a verdict on whether a fact is true. Where publishers disagree on a number, the record shows the disagreement rather than picking a side.

3. What a signal from the record is

A signal your desk builds from the record is a reading of it, derived by AI and disclosed as such. It shows the record it stands on. DRM3 does not warrant that any fact in the record is accurate or complete. A signal is not signed, and nothing about it should be read as a verdict.

4. Corrections and redactions

The record keeps a correction and redaction log, and its reasons are public and permanent. A wrong fact is superseded, not quietly rewritten. A signal your desk built from a fact that was later superseded stays as it was built; the record moves around it.
